Clearwater Capital Foundation - CCF Announces grant to Cal’s Angels COVID Relief Fund

The Clearwater Capital Foundation (CCF) is pleased to announce a financial grant to the Cal’s Angels COVID Relief Fund. In April Cal’s Angels, a St. Charles based nonprofit, launched their COVID relief response fund. The fund enables Cal’s Angels to continue to send care packages to the children, send them custom puzzles to do as a family, send meals when they need it most, and get them registered for their extracurricular activities when this passes.

“Cal’s Angels has been a terrific organization that we have supported for many years through their Gala’s, Ultimate Road Rally events, and hosting an event of our own with Hall of Fame Astronaut Scott Altman. When their COVID relief fund was announced, it was an easy decision for our Foundation to send out a grant” said James Chapman, CIO of Clearwater Capital and CCF Committee member.

Among many other initiatives, the Cal’s COVID Relief fund is responsible for funding the life size family cutout campaign for Laurie’s Childrens hospital highlighted on ABC 5 Chicago (HERE).

“The battle which Cal’s kids and families are fighting under any circumstance is difficult, and one I cannot imagine.  During this time of the COVID-19 virus our hearts and prayers are with them.  Additionally, we want to assist with a tangible contribution on behalf of our entire team through this grant to Cal’s Angels!!” said John Sleeting, Senior Partner of the firm.

About Cals Angels

Cal’s Angels is a 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation established in 2007 in memory of Cal Sutter, a 12-year-old who lost his battle with leukemia in 2006. Cal’s kindness and generosity inspired the start of Cal’s Angels. In just over 10 years, we have been able to bring hope and support to thousands of kids with cancer and their families.
