Clearwater Capital Foundation - CCF Announces grant to American Red Cross

The Clearwater Capital Foundation (CCF) is pleased to announce a financial grant to the American Red Cross to further their reach during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters, supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood, teaches skills that save lives, provides international humanitarian aid, and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.

This mission has been expanded during this extraordinary time. The Red Cross is enhancing their response in several concrete and visible ways by supporting quarantine shelters, distributing food, connecting families and providing health and mental health services.

“As an active blood donor, I was interested in ways that our foundation might get more involved in the mission of the Red Cross”, said Kevin Carani, Director of Institutional Advisory Services at Clearwater Capital and a CCF Committee member. “There are so many urgent needs in our community right now and I know the Red Cross has a long track record in helping during times of crises.”
