Clearwater Capital Foundation - CCF Announces grant to the Alignment Collaboritive for Education
The Clearwater Capital Foundation (CCF) is pleased to announce a financial grant to the Alignment Collaborative for Education (ACE.). The investment will support their community wide collaborations to improve kindergarten readiness, build schools with trauma informed care cultures, and implement educational pathways that link students to the business community.
This specific grant is targeted to the U-46 School district and enabled the organization to surpass their annual campaign goal. U-46 serves more than 37,000 children in grades preK-12 in 11 communities, including Bartlett, Elgin, Hanover Park, South Elgin, Streamwood and Wayne and portions of Carol Stream, Hoffman Estates, St. Charles, Schaumburg and West Chicago. The District ranks as the second largest in Illinois with 40 elementary schools, eight middle schools, and five high schools.
“One of the core parts of the mission of the CCF is to improve the quality of lives for others and inspire learning in our communities and across the world where our employees and clients serve. When we learned about the opportunity to contribute to this innovative local initiative we were happy to help” said James Chapman, from the Clearwater Capital Foundation.
