Valerie N. Hogan JD, CFP® serves as a Wealth Advisor in the Family Office Practice of Clearwater Capital Partners, serving Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families.

Prior to joining Clearwater Capital Partners, Valerie held positions at the National Christian Foundation-Chicago, as a Relationship Manager and later as a co-Managing Partner. Valerie co-founded and serves on the Board for Orchard Ministry Development where she provided strategic guidance to donors on non-cash and legacy gifts.

Valerie's commitment to empowering individuals extends beyond her professional endeavors. Together with her mother, Miriam Neff, founder of Widow Connection, Valerie co-authored a book, and host a radio feature that reaches a nationwide audience, offering crucial guidance on preventing fraud and imparting valuable budgeting and financial management skills.

Valerie holds a B.S. in Biology, minor in Chemistry from Liberty University, a Juris Doctor degree from Concord Law School at Purdue University, and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM) designation certificate from Northwestern University. She is also a licensed attorney and registered patent attorney. Most recently Valerie completed the Venture Capital and Private Equity executive program with Columbia University. Valerie's diverse background also includes working at the Christian Law Association. Since the year 2000, Valerie has been actively involved in her church, leading groups and individuals towards good stewardship through financial programs such as Christian Financial Concepts, Crown Financial, and Financial Peace University.

She currently resides in Long Grove with her husband Mark, their fabulous rescue dog Petey, and is the proud mother of three grown children and a grandchild. In her leisure time, Valerie enjoys snorkeling, scuba diving, travel, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
