About our Foundation

The Clearwater Capital Foundation (CCF) is the charitable arm of Clearwater Capital Partners. When John Chapman founded Clearwater Capital Partners in 2006, he knew he wanted to build an innovative, sophisticated boutique firm that would be client-centric with open architecture and full transparency. John and the team also knew early on that they wanted to be a generous company that would invest in the community and respond to the needs in our world. Since it’s founding the foundation has received a fixed percentage of firm revenue to enable the foundation to carry out charitable endeavors throughout the community.

Mission: The Clearwater Capital Foundation exists to improve the quality of life for people and to inspire generosity in our stakeholders for exponential impact.

Primary focus; financial empowerment. Financial empowerment is coming alongside someone to equip them with opportunities and resources that are needed for a sustainable, viable future. Clearwater Capital Foundation is uniquely equipped and poised to strategically partner with organizations that improve the quality of life for people through financial empowerment.

The foundation seeks opportunities to improve the quality of lives within the community. The Foundation seeks specifically organizations that embody the spirit of innovation in the way they serve, enable a long term commitment, and achieve catalytic results in multiplying impact. Specifically, area’s of our focus include:

  • Women and Girls

  • People in Need

  • Veterans

Last year was a banner year for the CCF. 2020 was an extraordinary year in more aspects than one. This year of extreme uncertainty brought along with it a high level of need as families and businesses struggled as the world shut down. With the support of our client families, the Clearwater Capital Foundation was humbled that our foundation was able to not only continue our gifting efforts, but to ramp up the impact of our foundation this year. 2020 represented the single largest year of giving for the Clearwater Capital Foundation since it’s inception.
