“When my husband suddenly passed away John was a God send.  He walked me through financial options, never pushing, always letting me know the next thing that I should be thinking about.  I love the way John helped me to not feel overwhelmed but understand the directions we were headed.  When I retired, John was there cheering me on to do the things that I love because we planned for it.

I know that God is in control of every area of my life, but I also know that He has given gifts to John that John uses to bless others every day.”

Outlook 2025: A Complicated Path Forward

We are pleased to share with you the Clearwater Capital Partners Outlook 2025 report entitled: A Complicated Path Forward

Each January, we dedicate considerable effort to establishing a foundational set of economic assumptions and insights for the upcoming year, aiming to develop a wealth management framework to guide our investment strategies. Our approach remains steadfastly long-term, emphasizing the importance of owning quality financial assets throughout market fluctuations.

To prepare this report, we have reviewed market analyses from an array of respected economists and trusted research sources. We value the insights of Wall Street’s leading thinkers, yet we strive to interpret these insights independently, crafting an economic thesis that supports informed decision-making.

U.S. equity markets have experienced a noticeable uptick in price volatility as the summer of 2024 winds down.  The shift began in early July when several of the large tech companies sold off sharply.  These same stocks that had led the equity rally this year managed to recover a large portion of those summer losses.

The Future is Faster Than You Think

As an investor constantly seeking insights into the ever-evolving landscape of technology and its impact on our future, I found “The Future is Faster Than You Think” to be an enlightening and thought-provoking read.  Renowned futurists Peter Diamandis and Steven Kotler offer a refreshing perspective on the future in their provocative book.

Unsettled

This book challenged everything I thought I understood about climate change. It is a thought-provoking book written by Steven E. Koonin, a theoretical physicist and former Undersecretary for Science at the U.S. Department of Energy. The book explores the complex and often controversial topic of climate change, providing readers with a comprehensive overview of what climate science tells us, what it doesn’t, and why it matters.

The Splendid and the Vile

As a CEO with a deep appreciation for historical insights, I cannot recommend Erik Larson’s “The Splendid and the Vile” enough. This is a masterful work that provides an intimate and compelling look at the tumultuous first year of Winston Churchill’s leadership during the Second World War.
