A Night of Hope, Resilience, and Abundance: The Fellowship Housing Gala

Katie Berganske-Frank March 03, 2025

Saturday night’s Fellowship Housing Gala was more than an evening of elegance and sophistication—it was a night of joy, generosity, and transformation. Hope filled the room, the power of community was undeniable, and yes, a few tears were shed.

We gathered to celebrate the strength of single mothers—women one crisis away from homelessness but refusing to let that define their future. These are mothers who wake up every day determined to rewrite their family’s story, to build a legacy different from the struggles they’ve known.

While we focused on victories and bright futures, we couldn’t ignore the journeys that brought these mothers here. Many have faced obstacles most of us in the room will never know—escaping abuse, navigating housing instability, stretching every dollar for their children to ensure they eat.

But this night wasn’t about hardship—it was about victory. We witnessed what happens when a mother is given a chance, empowered with financial literacy, stable housing, and tools to build a future. And behind every success story, is the selfless team at Fellowship Housing—the advocates, mentors, and leaders who pour their hearts into this work every day.

The generosity Saturday night was extraordinary. Donors raised just shy of half a million dollars—funds directly impacting these families, ensuring more mothers can build stable, independent futures. This is Impact.

The gala showed what’s possible when generosity meets purpose. It reminded us that abundance is meant to be shared, that changing one life creates a generational ripple effect. Hope wasn’t just discussed—it was felt, lived, and given freely.

As we left, we felt this work is far from finished—the need remains great. But so is the love, faith, and commitment of everyone believing in Fellowship Housing’s mission. Clearwater Capital, through its foundation, aligns with this mission by prioritizing support for women and children, one of its core giving pillars. The foundation’s focus on financial empowerment and long-term commitment resonates deeply with organizations like Fellowship Housing, which embody innovation and catalytic change.

Here’s to hope, resilience, and the transformative power of a mother’s love—may this night be one of many that inspire change and uplift generations to come. Together, we’re fostering a community where financial empowerment and social change create a lasting ripple effect that will be felt for generations.
