Hunter is the Director of Operations at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), a research center at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. The CCAF specializes in researching tech-enabled financial innovations emerging outside of the incumbent financial system and delivers a suite of digital tools and executive education programmes covering topics including FinTech, digital/crypto assets, central-bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and regulatory innovation.
Hunter has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in International Business, graduating summa cum laude from Taylor University. Hunter also has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the University of Cambridge. During his MBA Hunter rowed for St. Catherine’s in the Men’s Novice premiere boat, placing in the top 5 boats out of a 40+ field. As part of his MBA Hunter consulted on a venture financing strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa for a blue-chip Zimbabwean company covering South Africa, Kenya, and the Zimbabwean markets.
Hunter resides in Cambridge, U.K. with his wife Allison and their son. He is an avid traveler having worked in and traveled to over 30 countries with a concentration across Europe and Africa. Hunter’s interests include reading, running, and enjoying time with his family.
