Position Summary
We are seeking a curious, proactive, and highly dependable professional to join our team as a Business Systems Analyst. This role is a key in-house technology partner responsible for supporting, integrating, and optimizing our business applications and internal systems. You will serve as the lead operator for critical platforms, helping ensure our technology environment runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
Because we operate in a highly regulated wealth management environment, this position requires a strong respect for compliance, confidentiality, and data protection. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with leadership, vendors, and internal teams to support operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discretion. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and bringing practical technology solutions to the business.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support, administer, and optimize current and future business applications.
- Integrate systems and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, automations, and process improvements.
- Train users on best practices and support adoption of new tools and features.
- Act as the lead operator for core business applications and related technology processes.
IT Operations & Support
- Provide hands-on, on-site support for employees and day-to-day technology needs.
- Set up and maintain laptops, phones, conference room technology, and office equipment.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including access, devices, and system setup.
- Serve as a liaison to managed service providers, software vendors, and other technology partners.
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and help ensure reliable, secure technology operations.
Compliance, Confidentiality, and Security
- Support compliance, cybersecurity, and data protection initiatives in partnership with leadership.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and follow firm policies and regulatory expectations.
- Help maintain technology practices aligned with industry regulations and internal controls.
- Contribute to a culture of compliance, accountability, and operational integrity.
AI and Innovation
- Bring a working knowledge of AI tools and their practical business applications.
- Identify opportunities to responsibly use AI to improve workflows, efficiency, research, and productivity.
- Evaluate new technology solutions with an eye toward governance, confidentiality, and business value.
- Help the firm stay current on emerging tools, automation, and technology trends.
Ideal candidate will be
- Tech-savvy, curious, and eager to take initiative.
- Communicates clearly with all levels of the organization and external partners.
- Thrives in a small team and is comfortable being both strategic and hands-on in daily execution.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, business applications, systems administration, or related operations.
- Experience with workflow automation, reporting, and application administration.
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, and practical use cases in business setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and common business productivity tools.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications preferred, especially those related to Dynamics 365 administration, user adoption, or integration.
- Experience in regulated industry, ideally financial services or an RIA environment, preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
